Half-assed attempts at holding the door for someone piss me off.

Either  you hold the door for someone or you don’t. It’s simple as that.  Just don’t go about putting your hand out in a half-assed gesture that makes it appear as if your exerting the energy to do something minimal and then entail don’t do said simple gesture. What makes it even worse is when you make eye contact with the person who tries to hold the door and they give you that shoulder shrug gesture sorry gesture.

Annoying.
